What is a PD-wali?

PD-Wali = an English and Urdu hybrid that mean someone who works in Public Diplomacy.

English part: PD refers to Public Diplomacy, or the practice of engaging with and informing foreign audiences about your country and its foreign policy.  I am a PD Officer for the U.S. State Department.

Urdu part: A wala or wali (feminine form) is an urdu phrase which refers, among other things, to someone who works in a particular profession. For example, a chai waalaa is a man who brings tea (chai).

So a PD-wali is someone who does PD work = me!
