Asalaam alaikum. Thanks for your interest in my blog! My name is Courtney Beale and I am a U.S. diplomat serving in the Press Section at the American Embassy in Islamabad. I’m part of a team at the Embassy working to engage with the Pakistani people, primarily through the press, about the US and its policies in Pakistan. I’ll be describing what it is like to do Public Diplomacy work in Islamabad and how we get our message out. I hope that by sharing my experiences that I can help overcome misinformation and mistrust, and bring two great countries closer together in some small way.
